Hello!

I’m John Stagaman, an American designer based in Paris, France. I spent much of my childhood in Brussels, Belgium...where I developed an interest in art at an early age. Returning to Cincinnati, I attended University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program where I received my degree in Industrial Design. After graduation, I received an internship with Branch Creative where I worked for 5 years.

In 2023 I re-located to Lausanne to participate in a Masters Advanced Studies program at ECAL (École cantonale d'art de Lausanne) with a focus in design for luxury & craftsmanship. While there I had the opportunity to collaborate with large european luxury brands as well as small scale, artisan producers on limited edition products.

Currently,  I am a designer with Louis Vuitton’s  Men’s  Leather Goods  & Travel (Men & Womens) Team.  

I’ve always enjoyed approaching design through the lens of functional art and sculpture - trying to reach both the logical and emotional sides of the products we interact with everyday.
