Hello!

I’m John Stagaman, an American designer based in San Francisco, California. I attended University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program where I received my degree in Industrial Design. After graduation, I received an internship with Branch Creative where I stayed for 5 years.

In 2023 I re-located to Lausanne to participate in a Masters Advanced Studies program at ECAL (École cantonale d'art de Lausanne) with a focus in design for luxury & craftsmanship. While there I had the opportunity to collaborate with large european luxury brands as well as small scale, artisan producers on limited edition products.

Through participation in a leather goods competition while attending ECAL - I found myself joining the team at Louis Vuitton in Paris the following year as part of their Leather Goods & Travel Teams. Gaining incredibly valuable exposure to soft materials, fashion design process and luxury as an industry.

Currently, I am a designer at Google as part of their hardware team in Mountain View, California.
